# Do I Need to Declare Pregnancy?

Find out whether pregnancy needs to be declared and when travelling while pregnant can affect your cover.

## Do I need to declare pregnancy?

No.

Pregnancy itself is **not considered a medical condition** and does not need to be declared.

However, you must not travel:

-   Against the advice of your doctor, midwife or other medical practitioner; or
    
-   Against any health requirements set by your airline, carrier or other public transport provider.
