Am I covered if a tattoo or piercing becomes infected while I’m abroad?

If you had a tattoo or piercing before leaving the UK and it becomes infected while you are abroad, cover can apply provided that:
You were fit to travel when you started your trip.
You are not travelling against Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) advice.
The claim otherwise meets the terms and conditions of your policy.
