Yes, you are covered under our policies, provided you remain on-road and the following conditions are met:
You hold a full UK (or other internationally recognised licence) to drive the motorbike, moped, scooter, or assisted bicycle. You’ll also need an international driving permit (IDP, 1968) for your licence to be valid in Vietnam, which you can obtain from https://www.gov.uk/driving-abroad/get-an-idp.
The vehicle you are driving is insured.
You wear a helmet while riding.
You wear a seatbelt when travelling in a motor vehicle where one is available.
You are not taking part in races, rallies, off-road riding, or competitions.
There is no cover for Personal Liability.
If you are a passenger (pillion), you are also covered as long as
The driver has the correct licence for the bike.
The bike is insured.
You wear a helmet.
We do not cover:
Damage to the hired bike itself, third-party damage or injuries to third parties.
