Q: Who is eligible to purchase a CoverForYou travel insurance policy?
A: To buy a policy and ensure your cover is valid, you must meet the following criteria at the time of purchase:
Be a permanent resident of the United Kingdom and registered with a UK doctor (GP).
Be physically located in the United Kingdom when you start your trip (we cannot cover trips that have already begun).
Be fit to travel at the time of your trip and not be traveling against the advice of a medical doctor.
Not be traveling with the intention of receiving medical treatment abroad (such as cosmetic surgery).
Not be awaiting an initial medical appointment for investigations, under investigation for a new or undiagnosed condition, or diagnosed with a terminal illness.
Not be aware of any reason why your trip would have to be canceled or cut short.
Ensure your trip meets the mandatory 3-day minimum duration required for all Single Trip (ST) policies.
Clients living in Northern Ireland are also covered to depart from the Republic of Ireland (e.g., Dublin), as many international flights are not available from Northern Ireland airports.
