Q: I updated my medical information online, and now my policy status says "Void." What does this mean?
A: If you log into your account during your 14-day cooling-off period to update your medical declaration but do not complete the final confirmation or checkout steps, our system automatically places your policy into a temporary "Void" status.
This is a safety measure that temporarily pauses your cover because your medical history is incomplete. To resolve this and reactivate your policy, please get in touch with our team right away so we can help you take action:
Option 1 (Keep Your Policy): We can help you complete the medical screening over the phone, take the relevant premium adjustment payment if required, and instantly reactivate your policy - Subject to specific criteria.
Option 2 (Cancel Your Policy): If you decide you do not wish to proceed with the updated medical screening, we can help you officially cancel the policy and process any refunds you may be entitled to under our standard terms.
Please note that your policy is not fully or legally cancelled until you speak with us to finalize one of these two options. If your cover is left in a void status, you will not be protected if you try to travel or make a claim.
Please note: All cover is subject to the policy terms, conditions, exclusions, and any applicable excess.
