Am I covered if I travel abroad for cosmetic surgery?
No.
Our travel insurance is not designed to cover trips where you intend to travel specifically to receive cosmetic surgery, other surgery, treatment or medical investigations.
The policy excludes claims arising directly or indirectly from surgery, treatment or investigations that you intend to travel to receive.
This also includes complications or other medical conditions discovered as a result of those procedures.
If the purpose of your trip is to receive cosmetic surgery, you should not rely on this policy for cover relating to that trip.
