What is a policy excess?

A policy excess is the amount you must pay towards a claim.

The applicable amount is shown in your Table of Benefits.

The excess applies:

  • Per person.

  • Per incident.

What if more than one insured person is claiming?

Where more than one insured person is claiming during the same trip, the policy limits the excess to a maximum of two excess amounts per trip.

Important: All cover is subject to the policy terms, conditions, exclusions, cover limits and any applicable excess.
