Am I covered to visit theme parks and go on the rides?
Yes. Theme park visits and normal leisure activities can be covered under your policy, subject to the usual policy terms and conditions.
The sports and activities section also specifically lists amusement park rides as an activity included as standard.
What conditions apply?
When taking part in a covered activity, you must:
Be participating on a recreational and non-professional basis.
Follow applicable local laws and regulations.
Use any recommended safety or protective equipment.
Follow the safety instructions and requirements of the attraction or activity provider.
Do I need an Activity Pack for normal theme park rides?
No.
Amusement park rides are included as standard, so you do not need to purchase an additional Activity Pack solely to use normal theme park rides.
What if the theme park offers other activities?
Some theme parks and resorts offer additional activities that may have their own conditions or require a different level of cover.
For example, attractions involving activities such as:
Bungee jumping.
Zip lining.
Go karting.
Water sports.
Climbing.
should be checked separately against the sports and activities list.
