The policy defines sports equipment as items that are usually worn, carried, used or held while taking part in a recognised sport.
Yes.

Equipment used for an activity requiring an Activity Pack will only be eligible where you have the required additional cover.
Ski equipment is covered separately under Winter Sports.
Golf equipment is covered separately under Golf Cover.
You can check sports and activities cover online.
For eligible items covered under the Personal Belongings section, the policy provides the full replacement cost with no deduction for depreciation or wear and tear.

Obtain a Property Irregularity Report (PIR).
Keep any baggage tags, travel documents and supporting evidence.
Keep evidence of ownership or purchase for the equipment.

The policy does not specifically set out a separate baggage rule for bicycles, e-bikes or e-scooters.
Cycling itself may be a covered activity subject to the relevant sports and activities conditions, but that does not automatically confirm that every bicycle, e-bike or e-scooter is covered as sports equipment in every circumstance.
If you are travelling with a bicycle or similar high-value item, contact CoverForYou before travelling to confirm how the equipment is treated and what limits apply.
Important: All cover is subject to the policy terms, conditions, exclusions, cover limits and any applicable excess.
